Igor Zagrebin observed a small bird from Passerine on December 13th, 2010. Its species was determined after some long observation and consultations with ornithologists. This is an American specie of Melospiza georhiana (swamp sparrow) – bird of passage. This is the first observation of swamp sparrow on Chukchi Peninsula and Russia.
